So Much Snow

What do we do with all of this snow?? We have had 62 inches of snow here. The kids have to climb over Mt. Everest to get the mail.





Gotta have hot cocoa after playing in the snow.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Birthday

Chris and I celebrated our birthdays this weekend. My mom came up and took all of us out to eat, which was brave considering there were a total of 6 children and Saturday night, a day before Valentine's Day. After waiting only 20 minutes for our seat at Chili's, good food and drinks, we ended with ice cream cake from DQ. The kids pretty much entertained themselves while the adults watched the Olympics.

Getting Air

After the program, R had some play time before bed. She is now pulling herself up off the floor a little. Our days of her staying in one place are getting numbered.

Concert

Third grade had their music program tonight. A is in the back row. The songs were all a cooking theme.

Sunday Afternoon

Here is a snapshot of our day at our house. There is always something going on, never a dull moment here.

Neighbors over to play with the kids. They are playing Mario Cart.


Phil is writing a paper on leadership for his grad class. How does he stay focused around here?? Work before play, later this afternoon he'll be going to a friend's house to watch the Super Bowl.

Hmm, what am I doing?? Sitting and resting, NOT!! There is always dishes, cleaning, and laundry to be done. I guess I do find time to blog and scrapbook.

Scootin' Along

RM is now 8 months. She is no longer staying in one place.

Band Concert

O had her 2nd band concert on Monday. She has come a long way since the beginning of the year playing the flute.


A little "Romo" fan was spotted at the concert.

I video taped A. listening to his sister's band concert. O's response was "He did like it."


The 5th grade teachers took part in the band concert as well. O's current teacher and the teacher she had in 4th grade( blonde/purple outfit) are on stage playing various odd items.
